Does this replace my building's fire alarm?+
No. Smart safety adds awareness and personal alerts. Certified building fire systems and civil-defence requirements must remain in place.
How does the water shutoff work?+
A motorised actuator is installed on your main water valve. When a leak sensor triggers, it closes automatically — you can also close it from the app.
Do the sensors need wiring?+
Most are battery-powered with 2–5 year battery life. We provide replacement reminders.
Will I get an alert even when I'm abroad?+
Yes — alerts are delivered via the app to any phone, anywhere, with an internet connection.
What if the internet is down?+
Local sirens still trigger. Cloud alerts pause until the connection returns. Automatic valve shutoff works locally on many models.
